Funding

The services provided by H.A.D. come from a number of sources and the raising of funds to maintain our services every year takes a lot of time and energy. Often funding is only provided on a year by year basis so this makes long term planning very difficult to achieve and can lead to many voluntary organisations feeling unsure and anxious about the services they provide and whether they can continue to obtain funding to maintain them.

The current sources of funding for the services managed by H.A.D. are as follows:

Havering Council (Social Services)
Provides core funding for services, including the Chief Executive.

Department of Health (Carers Grant)
Provides funding for the Befriending Scheme and the Carers Support Programme, including the Befriending Co-ordinator and the Befriending Administrator.

Bridge House Trust
Provides funding for the computer training programme.
